Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us the privilege to wake up safely on this Saturday.
Lord, You are an awesome God, whose eyes kept watching over us each day and night, and bestowed upon us Your mercies throughout the week.
Lord, we remember the moments we went against Your will and sinned. Forgive us Lord, all our trespasses. We are Yours, for You have chosen us; to be strong and to be freed from all evils.
Lord, thank You for Your presence that made us to feel the fullness of joy, and the pleasures that delighted us. Thank You for nourishing our souls with patience and comforting us.
Lord, give us Your counsel and rekindle our faith in our hearts and drive every doubts about the new week ahead. Make us worthy to receive the good and the perfect gifts You have for us.
Lord, may we be confident that we walked according to Your guidance. Let the quite moments we spend with You this weekend, and the worship Sunday, prepare us for next week.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy shown to us through the ages and in the present time.
Lord, thank You for listening to us and for being present to us. Thank You for giving us the privilege to safely come to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for giving us joyful moments, patience and tolerance during tough times. Thank You for making us to understand Your statutes to walk each day ahead boldly.
Lord, may we not give room for our lack of faith or sheer ingratitude to overshadow us, that we may go astray. Continue to lighten the burden we bear, and make the weary road we daily tread one bit more fair.
Lord, may we ensure to walk with You in our faith, sure of safe passage to true joy here on earth. Prepare us to come rejoicing tomorrow to Your sanctuary to offer our prayers and thanksgiving.

HE SATISFIES US WITH THE LIVING WATER

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for waking us up to see a bright and a new, grace filled morning.
Lord, You are the joy of our salvation and the strength of our hearts. Let our thirst grow deeper and more for Your living water. Bestow upon each one of us, Your tranquility to walk through each moment today.
Lord, we are grateful for all Your goodness and grace showered on us. May we close the day with confidence that we lived upto Your guidance.
Lord, we pray for all those around the world going through various sufferings, physical/mental illness and those facing injustice and oppression. Restore their weary hearts with Your living water, and lead them beside the still waters.
Lord, be our Provider and Restorer always. May we wake up each day, refreshed, to be ready and willing to do Your bidding.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day You are an awesome God whose mercies are new every morning.
Lord, thank You for revealing Yourself to us each day and preparing us to walk through the day.
Lord, may we have the mustard seed faith in Your words and reflect it. You alone are the source of our strength, peace and provision.
Lord, may we choose to delight ourselves in You alone, for, it is You , who alone can fulfill the desires of our heart.
Lord, may we remain in You daily, and delight and stay connected with You through our prayer, worship and study of Your Word.
Lord, make our steps firm in You so that we are not cast headling. Uphold us with Your righteous right hand.

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER

Friends, it's been six years since (Oct 2016) I started to write this morning devotion captioned, A Small Morning Family Prayer.
As I step into the seventh year, I thank 🙏and praise God for HIS guidance thus far to carry out this initiative, consistently without a break amidst various challenges and distractions. I am personally enriched by this initiative, as I read through the scriptures to write the prayer, each day.
I thank you all 🙏 for your words of encouragement and for various inputs shared by many of you (whom I have met and not met), "to post it at a particular time each day, to relate the prayer to the current and domestic affairs / day to day challenges etc.," to quote a few, that helped me to improvise it. The scripture says that the Holy Spirit helps and intercedes to pray for one another. May the Lord strengthen us to continue this prayer fellowship in the days to come. Thank you all.🙏
"so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted to us through the prayers of many".

SING, REJOICE & FEAR NOT. OUR LORD DWELLS IN OUR MIDST

Gracious Heavenly Father, we enter into this eleventh month with a thankful heart.
Lord, we thank You for filling each month/day with Your new grace and mercies. Thank You for all the blessings and joyous moments bestowed on our families & friends.
Lord, we remember this day, all the Saints' who stood as a witness to the Gospel. May we learn to walk wisely from their examples of faith, dedication, worship and love.
Lord, may we share the message of redemption and Your unconditional love with our neighbours. Let them also be touched by You this month and come into Your fold of salvation.
Lord, thank You for valuing us more than the sparrows. Strengthen us to face any challenges or bitterness we may face this month. Continue to dwell in our midst and guide us our steps.
Lord, may we be an encouragement to everyone we meet, through our Christlike actions, our faith and trust we have in You.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed day. By Your grace and mercy we have come to the close of the tenth month this year.
Lord, it was Your compassion and love You that brought us thus far. May we always remember to transform ourselves from our shortsightedness and misconceptions of Your saving grace.
Lord, may we enjoy the ture fellowship in You with everyone and be a reformed agents of Your love and peace.
Lord, we give You great thanks, for, You stand by the right hand of the needy one and deliver them.
Lord, we thank and praise You, as a family and rejoice in all the good that You have given us. We commit ourselves into Your hands. Guard us and guide us
Lord, as we prepare to enter into a new month, may we not loose focus from our faith but cling onto Your promises as we move forward each day.

HOLD FAST YOUR CONFESSION OF HOPE & BE PURIFIED BY HIM

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this worship Sunday. We hold fast our confession of hope, as we participate in the divine worship service this morning.
Lord, may we grow in grace and live as You intended us to live. May we be Your channels to carry out Your will, to Your praise and glory.
Lord, may we draw nearer to You with every passing day, amidst all sorts of disturbances, threats and violence against us. Help us to walk in newness of life in Christ.
Lord, You are a God of justice and peace, greatly to be feared. Let the wall of separation between Your perfection and our sinfulness be broken through the Holy Eucharist.
Lord, let every prayer of our heart be acceptable in Your sight, for, You are the glory of our strength who purifies us.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace, early, this morning with our hearts full of praises. We thank You for this Saturday.
Lord, may we not look back to the world and be destroyed, but look upto You alone, as we move forward. We beseech Your pardon for our sins. Thank You for being there by our side, always.
Lord, thank You for granting us Your deliverance, healing, comfort, provisions, travel mercies, new breakthroughs and many more blessings to all of us.
Lord, prepare our minds for tomorrow's worship. Give us the right frame of mind and fill us with thankfulness, and help our worship be sincere and true in Your sight .
Lord, give us a heart to pray for others, and keep away all bitterness, anger and jealousy nature from our hearts. We submit every portion of our work and labour into Your hands. Bless us, and make us a blessing to others.

THE LORD IS WITH US – TO THE END OF THE AGE

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this grace and mercy filled day. We thank You for helping us throughout our life on earth and for strengthening our faith and trust in all You do. You are worthy of all our praises.
Lord, we commend all the aged adults in our family, community and Church. You showed them the paths of life and the fullness of life. Help them to remember the days You stood by them in the past, as they lead their families.
Lord, thank You for filling them with strong faith, love and patience. Cast away all their infirmities and strengthen them. Place a hedge around their dwelling place and give them all protection. Let no fear, loneliness or sickness dishearten them.
Lord, accept their prayer for their offspring to excel in spirituality and all areas of their lives.
Lord, we commend and pray for ourselves. Let the power of Your great grace and mercy be in our hearts to gain the victory. Pardon all shortcomings, blunders, and sins. Be with us to the end of age.
