A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

SAVED BY GRACE

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You this morning as a family. It was Your grace that saved us each day and filled us with hope and joy. Lord, thank You for eagerly watching over us and waiting to hear our prayer every morning. Lord, may we remember that it is You who give us strength to climb the mountain and lead us all around. You are more concerned to respond to us appropriately. Lord, place Your loving hand upon each one of us and allow Your Spirit to flow into us to cleanse the depths of our soul and body and restore us. Lord, Your is grace is sufficient for us. May we not fear, doubt or get anxious, for, joy of the Lord is our strength. Grant us a quiet mind and an expectant heart and Your assured presence, always. WORKERS’ DAY

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the new month added by Your grace. Lord, as we observe workers' day today, we commend into Your hands all who work in fields, factories, industries, housemaids, public utility workers, contractual labourers and all those who toil everyday in various areas of work to earn their bread and butter. Lord, give them good health, protection and safety as they work in dangerous, hazardous and unclean environment. Lord, bless their earnings as they toil to provide for their family. Let the bowl of flour not be exhausted nor the jar of oil become empty, in their homes. Lord, we commend those who employ these workers, into Your hands. Give them a heart of flesh, so that they may not be inhumane with the workers. Lord, let the workers be true to their employers. Let both of them bond well and treat each other with humanity. Teach them guide them, and bless them. In Jesus' name we pray , Amen.Today's Promise: You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed,, and it shall be well with you. THE LORD IS GOOD

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for calling us to taste Your saving grace and mercy. Thank You for the assured blessings to all those who take refuge in You.
Lord, You satisfy us with deeper joy each day when we taste Your goodness through Your Word - that gives us wisdom; that lights our path; that heals the sick; that stills the sea; that brings salvation to our homes.
Lord, may we not hold back our experience of tasting Your goodness, but share the good news and invite those who haven't tasted Your saving grace and mercy yet.
Lord, we commend all those who go through various bitter and sour experiences in their family, workplace, and neighbourhood. You are good to all. Give them the privilege of tasting Your goodness.Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for calling us to taste Your saving grace and mercy. GATHER

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for giving us another day. Lord, we thank You for Your presence amidst us to lead and guide all our intercessions and petitions. Lord, this morning, we gather together as a family, in one accord for the protection of Your people. Walk closely beside each one of us, during this time of various issues that poses threat to the community. Lord, let the hedge of protection surround all our institutions, churches and all those involved in Your ministry. Lord, we long for Your day, the day when Your power will be revealed in us. May we profess our faith with zeal and gratitude in these trying times. Be with us, and give our hearts the strength to face boldly the days ahead. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today's promise: The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seekYou. Psalm 9:9-10

HE IS THE TRUE VINE

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank and praise You for the innumerable blessings showered on each one of us.
Lord, we trust in You and Your great works. May we hold our love on You firmly with all our strength and share the same with one another.
Lord, You are the true vine - the source of our life. May we remain in You to bear much fruit. Use us to accomplish Your purpose for us in the world.
Lord, we submit ourselves to You. Without You, we can do nothing. May we delight in You and experience Your love all through our life to receive the desires of our heart.

FAMILY

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of family. We chose and commit ourselves to serve You and to remain content in any situations.
Lord, You have been guiding us, leading us thus far. You helped us to fulfill our profound responsibility as parents, of ensuring it's spiritual well being and to provide their daily needs, thus far.
Lord, thank You for guiding the elders of our family who carefully guided and nourished us with the Word of God to lead our family.
Lord, thank You for turning every curse into a blessing to us. We received the blessings and righteousness from You - our God of Salvation.
Lord, we pray for all the family who long for peace and harmony. Be present amidst them and shower all the goodness upon each member, as You have showered upon us.
Lord, be the Head of our family; an unseen Guest at every meal; and a silent listner to our every conversation.

JESUS – LIGHT OF THE WORLD

Gracious Heavenly Father, God of Light, we come to You this morning, seeking Your presence so that You may lead us with the light that streams out from You.
Lord, we thank You for all Your goodness, Your blessings and for the powerful help You have given many thus far.
Lord, we thank You, for, You have swept away our offenses like a cloud and sins like a morning mist and have redeemed us in Your mercy. Establish us on the firm foundation of Your promises.
Lord, we pray for all our brethren who are still far away from Your gospel of redemption. Watch over them and make known Your great love and Your living presence to the hearts of the dying.
Lord, let them also have the light, believe in the light and become the children of the light. Draw their hearts to You so that they may have community in You, and their faith and hope set on You alone.
Lord, thank You for being our light and directing our paths to walk in the light. Lead us ahead.

HE IS MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS

Gracious Heavenly Father, we are gathered in Your presence this morning as a family.
Lord, reveal to us Your mercies so that we may witness Your deeds today as was witnessed by the Israelites.
Lord, as we begin this week, let no challenges of this world get us off track or weight us down. May we run the race with endurance and finish it according to Your will.
Lord, we commend ourselves and every family and submit our petitions into Your divine care. Hide us and guide us, for, You are our Refuge and a very present Help in trouble.
Lord, we bring before You the prayer requests of all those who are brokenhearted due to various family issues. Let peace prevail upon them and worries cast away from their family. Let no fear overtake them instead be comforted.
Lord, prepare us, prepare the world to live in a totally renewed world, with a belief that You are in total control of everything.

THE CHOSEN ONES

Gracious Heavenly Father, as we gather to worship You, we are reminded of Your steadfast love that never ceases.
Lord, You hear us when we call; hold us when we fall and lift us when we drown. For a brief moment You may forsake us but with deep compassion You will lift us back. We thank You🙏.
Lord, we are dust; a flower, that fades quickly; a wave tossed in the ocean; a vapour in the wind, yet You have engraved us on Your palms. We thank You 🙏.
Lord, we trust You and leave every worries under Your care. You know the plans and purposes You have designed for us.
Lord, You set us apart as Your chosen ones, the objects of Your mercy and for salvation through Your Son Jesus Christ

HOPE

Gracious Heavenly Father, we set our hope on You, with which we walked past through this week.
Lord, You are our Creator and eternal life giver. We thank You for strengthening us even today as You strengthened Your apostles in word, faith and spirit.
Lord, we commend all the children who prepare to face their annual exams. Give them good health and fill them with Your wisdom as they learn their lessons. Cast away their mental fatigue and anxiety.
Lord, we intercede for the parents who struggle to pay the fees for their children. Guide them as they seek help from various sources to meet their financial needs. Let them receive appropriate favours from the institution as they request assistance for their children.
Lord, we all have our hope set on You, even as we toil and strive to provide for our family. May we not abandon our faith but persevere and practice it to experience Your hand's leading through any challenges.
